Senior Architectural Technologist

Conrad Consulting are proud to be partnering with an outstanding AJ100 architectural practice in their search for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their thriving Leeds city centre studio.

This award-winning, design-led practice has built a strong reputation both in the UK and internationally, with offices across Europe and the Middle East. Consistently recognised in the AJ100, they are renowned for delivering innovative, ambitious architecture and for supporting their people to reach their full potential through ongoing professional development and a collaborative working culture.

Due to sustained growth and a robust pipeline of high-profile projects, the Leeds team are now looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technologist with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience. The successful candidate will join a diverse team delivering technically complex schemes across the Education, Defence (MOD), and Transportation sectors.

This role will suit a highly adaptable Technologist who thrives on variety and can confidently move between multiple projects at different stages. You'll bring not only strong technical delivery skills but also a comprehensive understanding of how buildings are put together - from concept through to construction. Your ability to think practically, solve problems, and coordinate effectively with design and construction teams will be essential to success. Suitable for Senior Architectural Technologists or experienced Technologists who feel they are ready to step into a senior role.

Key Requirements for the Senior Architectural Technologist:

• 5-10 years' post-qualification experience, ideally MCIAT or working towards chartership.
• Proven experience working within Education, MOD, or Transport sectors.
• A deep technical understanding of building construction, materials, detailing, and regulations.
• Flexibility and agility to manage multiple projects and respond to evolving priorities.
• Proficiency in Revit (essential) and good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and teamworking skills.
• Currently operating at Senior Technologist level within a practice or consultancy environment.
