Planner / Scheduler Responsibilities: Managing calls on system Managing operatives diaries General administration Planning repairs and maintenance requests to the relevant operative Ensure trade skill sets and location parameters are working effectively Liaising with operatives, tenants and the Client Document Control - Ensure worksheets are received and checked Work towards individual and client KPI's Deal with council and private housing contracts, planning and scheduling routine, essential and emergency property maintenance works Tracking and monitoring to completion Liaison with in-house and 3rd party engineers and tradesmen and council operatives to plan appointments, materials and logistics and reorganising of schedules Organisation of external supply companies Ensuring all trades are readied and present on-site and works completed in-line with committed client completion dates Be able to work in a fast paced demanding role with constant collaboration with key stakeholders, clients, councils, housing agents, suppliers and trades You will be working for a modern, forward thinking business; that believes the strengths, skills and personalities of their people are the key to the groups success. What Are We Looking For? Our Mechanical Trades in Muir of Ord are looking for a Pipefitter to join the team on a full time permanent basis. As a Pipefitter, you ll work alongside an established team and be required to fabricate and form pipework and manifolds through safe use of hand tools, machinery, and other equipment. Please note there is travel and working away from home required as part of this role with accommodation provided by RSE, as well as a healthy subsistence allowance. Some of Your Key Duties Include: Fabricate pipework from customer samples and/or engineer s drawings to client & industry specifications. Undertake maintenance/repair work in existing pipework systems Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems Safe use of hand tools, machinery and other equipment Assist other disciplines when required Accurately record man-hours Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder s appropriate skill set Opportunities to work both within our local fabrication workshop and remotely as part of our site installation teams in Scotland. What Do You Need? Time served and fully qualified with experience within the fabrication/engineering industry The ability to operate a range of metal forming machines, including, Grinders, Pipe Benders, Die Equipment Demonstrate a clear understanding of the sequence of events required to fabricate and form pipe work, and manifolds including site run of pipework without drawings Possession of MSRA, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, and Asbestos awareness certificates is preferred but not essential.
