Job Responsibilities As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant , you will: Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs, adapting activities to meet EHCP goals and individual learning styles. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting access to the curriculum. Implement behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies to foster confidence and independence. Support the development of communication, social, and problem-solving skills through structured and play-based learning. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to track progress and adjust support as needed. Qualifications/Experience Previous experience as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant , supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, or complex learning needs.
