Job Description

We are seeking an experiencedAudiologistwith UK NHS experience to join skilled clinical teams ofAudiologistsacross multiple sites inLondon, delivering high-quality diagnostic hearing assessments within ENT and primary care pathways. The successfulAudiologistwill support GP-led services in busy, patient-focused environments. This flexibleAudiologyrole offersup to 4 to 5 days per week, core hours are 09:0017:00, available on apart-time or full-time basis, with acompetitive salarydependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • To carry out diagnostic hearing tests for patients with Ear Nose and Throat conditions, to include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Audiogram
  • Tympanogram
  • Pure tone air and bone conduction
  • Masking
  • Ensure prompt referrals to ENT GPwER or secondary care services where clinically indicated, following local pathways.
  • Maintain clear communication with referring GPs to enhance clinical awareness and care continuity.
  • Adhere to the organisationsSignificant Event Analysisprocedures and report untoward events promptly.
  • Undertake appropriate clinical investigations in line with NHS standards.
  • Liaise with localAudiologyandENT Servicesas outlined in the Referral Pathway Overview.
  • Partner with secondary care clinicians and commissioners to develop and improve thePatient Care Pathway.
  • Work within the specifications ofENT Intermediate Service contracts.

Requirements

  • HCPC registrationor equivalent qualification in Audiology.
  • Minimum one year of UK NHS experience, ideally within ENT or Audiology.
  • Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Commitment to clinical quality, governance, and continuous improvement.
