We are working with a small engineering company based in East Hanningfield who are looking for a MIG Welder Fabricator to join their expanding team. The role is a mix of workshop and site base so you will need a drivers license for this role. Also due to location you will need to have your own transport. The company manufacture operating shafts, staircases, flap valves, hand railings, access covers, platforms and walkways, escape ladders etc. The hourly rate for this role is up to 18ph depending on your skills and experience. Core hours are 7am till 4:30pm Monday to Friday when workshop based and usually 5:30am to 4:30pm when site based, but these can change for site work. We are looking for experienced MIG Welder Fabricators for this role. MIG Welder duties:- You will be MIG Welding Fabrication using guillotines, press brakes, Sanders, Bandsaws, etc. Using Lathes and Mills You will be working on a variety of steel work and architectural projects You will be working from engineering drawings Grinding (use of 110v/240v 4.5" & 9" grinders) Drilling (use of pillar drill magnetic drill) Oxy/acetylene (cutting & forming) Fabricating staircases, platforms, hand rails, bridges, ladders etc Be happy to work in the workshop and undertake site installations Skills & experience needed for this Welder Fabricator role:- You will be able to MIG Weld You will be able to fabricate using guillotines, press brakes, hand tools etc Ideally you will have experience with architectural metalwork You will be a team player who is happy to work on site when necessary This is a permanent role subject to passing a 13 week probation.
