Warehouse Assistant

C2 Recruitment are working on behalf of our client to recruit Warehouse Stock Auditors for a short term assignment based at their distribution centre in Livingston.
Contract dates
26th January to 5th February 2026
26th Jan - 6th Feb 2026
- Mock counts are all arranged for the Friday before counts take place.
- First mock count is Friday 23rd Jan at Livingston.
- These must attend for all colleagues as inductions and AMT training will be given
- This is a casual position based at our customers distribution centre in Livingston
- Rate of pay: 12.26 per hour
- Shift Patterns: 8am - 4pm
- Working Environment - Ambient
The role
You will be part of a busy, supportive team ensuring all stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate and fully audited. The work is fast paced and target driven, and you may move across several tasks including Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks. Manual handling will be required.
Key responsibilities
- Audit inbound supplier deliveries on the GFR programme
- Check picker accuracy and investigate errors
- Follow agreed audit and verification procedures
- Maintain integrity and accuracy throughout your work
- Meet expected productivity levels in line with customer requirements
- Review daily targets and work towards agreed standards
What you will bring
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and respond to warning devices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Flexibility to support stock auditing duties across fixed sites where required
- Ability to complete administrative duties including timesheets, training sign off, audit paperwork and scheduling
- Commitment to delivering a consistent and efficient service that meets client KPIs
