As a leading multi-award-winning car dealer group operating across South Wales and South West England, our client is seeking a dedicated Dealership Accountant to oversee financial operations for two of their dealerships in Gloucester. Duties:

• Preparation of management accounts for dealership sites
• Complete monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet
• Support non-financial managers across the business
• Assist the central accounts team with various financial processes
• Maintain the Kerridge dealer management system and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Prepare files and returns for internal and external auditors as required
• Engage in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support dealership financial health

Specification:

• Recent or current experience as a Dealership Accountant in a fast-paced environment
• Well-presented individual with a positive work ethic and professional attitude
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working under strict deadlines
• Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
• IT literate, ideally with Kerridge/ADP dealer management system experience
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills
• Resides near Gloucester, as the role involves managing accounts for two local dealerships
