Introduction
An established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support inspection and quality assurance activities across incoming and internally manufactured products. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a manufacturing quality background to join a quality-driven environment.
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, the role plays a key part in ensuring products meet internal standards and customer requirements prior to release.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out visual, functional, and dimensional inspections using basic inspection equipment
- Inspect products received from suppliers and manufactured in-house
- Complete and maintain inspection records, including non-conformance reports
- Work from engineering drawings, work instructions, inspection templates, and golden samples
- Assist with in-process audits and quality checks
- Communicate quality issues with internal departments
- Maintain accurate digital quality records and documentation
- Adhere to company Health & Safety and quality procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Proven 1 year experience in a Quality Control / Inspection role within manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail and methodical working approach
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001
- Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Professional, reliable, and a strong team player
- Aerospace experience desirable but not essential
