Field Service Engineer Utilities & Water Projects (Home Based, North West / Midlands)
About the Role:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will:
- Play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure solutions for utilities and water projects across the UK and occasionally Europe.
- You ll be responsible for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, ensuring reliability and safety for clients who depend on these solutions.
- Your work will directly impact communities by supporting vital water and utility networks, including water treatment plants, pumping stations, and process control systems.
- This is a client-facing position, requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships.
- You ll manage site activities, troubleshoot issues, and provide training, all while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Essential Requirements:
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in M&E disciplines
- Proven experience in M&E installation and maintenance on utilities or water projects
- Strong knowledge of RAMS and site safety
- Full clean UK/EEC driving licence
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Travel experience essential
