Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Fusion Learning Specialist to lead the delivery and implementation of Oracle Fusion Learning Management for a large enterprise environment.
This role will take ownership of the Learning module from discovery through to post-go-live support. You will work closely with HR, Learning & Development teams, and technical stakeholders to design, configure, and deploy a robust Oracle Learning solution that aligns with business objectives and supports long-term adoption.
The ideal candidate will bring deep functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Learning, strong hands-on configuration experience, and proven ability to lead client discussions and workshops.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oracle Fusion Learning Implementation
- Lead the full end-to-end life cycle of Oracle Fusion Learning Management implementations.
- Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into effective Learning solutions.
Conduct discovery and design workshops covering:
- Learning Catalog
- Courses, Offerings, and Activities
- Learning Assignments and Required Learning
- Skills, Communities, and Specialisations
- Reporting and analytics
2. Learning Solution Design & Configuration
- Configure Learning Catalog structures including courses, learning paths, specialisations, and subscriptions.
- Set up learning initiatives, mandatory learning, and assignment rules.
- Configure Instructor-Led Training (ILT), approvals, access rules, and Learning security roles.
- Design and configure Learning Journeys and integrations with HCM Journeys where applicable.
- Support digital learning integrations such as SCORM, xAPI, and third-party content providers.
- Develop Learning KPIs and dashboards using OTBI.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Consulting
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR and L&D stakeholders.
- Guide business teams on Learning best practices and adoption strategies.
- Deliver training sessions, walkthroughs, and knowledge-transfer workshops.
- Support the definition of enterprise Learning governance and operating models.
4. Testing, Data Migration & Cutover
Support and validate migration of:
- Learning content
- Learner records and histories
- Learning assignments and certifications
- Assist with cutover planning and transition to business-as-usual support.
5. Integrations & Reporting
- Collaborate with technical teams on Learning integrations using Oracle Learning REST APIs.
- Support integrations with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and external learning platforms.
- Ensure reporting and data flows meet enterprise architecture and compliance standards.
- Maintain alignment with UK data protection and security requirements.
6. Post-Go-Live Support & Optimisation
- Provide post-implementation hypercare support.
- Stabilise Learning processes and resolve functional issues.
- Review quarterly Oracle updates and assess impact on the Learning module.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation.

- Good understanding of cross-module integration with Core HR, Talent, Performance, Career Development, Security, Roles, and OTBI.
Technical & Integration Skills
- Experience working with Oracle Learning REST APIs.
- Knowledge of SCORM and xAPI standards.
- Hands-on experience with OTBI and BI Publisher for Learning reporting.
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is highly desirable.
- Ability to review and contribute to integration and technical design documentation.
