Learning & Development Partner - Adults

Salary: £31,800 per annum plus company car or car allowanceLocation: Remote, with extensive travel across the UK (including overnight stays where required)Contract: Full-time

About the Role

CareTech is seeking an experienced and passionate Learning & Development Partner - Adults to join our national Learning & Development team. This is a key role focused on designing and delivering high-quality, compliant health and social care training to ensure our workforce has the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care.

As a Learning & Development Partner, you will support and champion CareTech's blended learning approach, contributing to the design, delivery and continuous improvement of training across the organisation.

Purpose of the Role

To design and deliver learning and development solutions on behalf of the company, ensuring employees are fully trained in all required health and social care training in line with company standards, regulatory requirements, and best practice.

Emergency First Aid at Work

Understanding Autism

Mental Health and Wellbeing

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging, high-quality health and social care training as part of the Learning & Development team

Support the development and delivery of CareTech's blended learning model

Ensure all training events are well organised, professional and run smoothly

Work closely with the Training Co-ordinator to manage course administration

Ensure training materials and equipment are available, standardised and fit for purpose

Conduct assessments and evaluations of training delivered, producing reports and recommendations

Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records using the Learning Management System (LMS)

Liaise with services to ensure training meets current and evolving operational needs

Keep up to date with new legislation, regulatory guidance and best practice within health and social care

Take ownership of a lead area of the business, championing learning and development within this specialism

Research and cascade updates and developments to relevant stakeholders

Work collaboratively with external agencies to promote best practice

Ensure health and safety compliance across all training activities

Promote equality, diversity and inclusion through all learning and development activity

Reinforce CareTech's values in all training delivery

Deliver "Train the Trainer" workshops to operational trainers and managers to support quality assurance

Undertake any additional reasonable duties as required by the Learning & Development team

About You

You will be an experienced learning and development professional with a strong background in health and social care training. You will be confident delivering training to a wide range of audiences, adaptable to travel, and passionate about improving outcomes for adults in care through high-quality learning.
