Class 2 Hgv Driver

Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking experienced Class 2 Drivers for one of our clients who are a prestigous haulage company. This could be on going or Temp2Perm for the right candidates.

Responsibilities

• Up to 5-12 deliveries depending on distance.
• Monday to Friday starting between 06:30 to 08:30
• Ensure compliance with driving regulations.
• Make sure all paperwork is signed, accurate and distributed.
• Deliver and collect freight to agreed service levels.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks which fulfil health and safety criteria.
• Oversee safe loading and unloading of goods.
• Make sure loads are secure.

Qualifications/Experience

• You must hold a valid driving license, CPC card and tach card
• Be able to operate the vehicle responsibly and safely, ensuring loads are safe and secure.
• No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements/convictions. No (CD/IN/DR/TT)
• Minimum one years relevant driving experience
• Good navigational skills
• Right to work in the UK
