Senior Security Engineer - Commercial Projects (London) Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 + bonus + benefits Location: London (site-based, Zones 1-2) Hours: Permanent, full-time, typically 9-5 (flexible by site) Travel: Zone 1-2 travel card covered On-call: Call-out rota, 200 base for the week + overtime if called out Please note: This is not an IT role. The opportunity They are looking for an experienced Senior Security Engineer who knows what "good" looks like on commercial sites and wants to focus on high-quality engineering work. You will be delivering well-scoped access control and CCTV installations across the City and West End, with the support and planning you need to do the job right. What you'll be doing Installing, servicing, fault-finding, and commissioning access control and CCTV systems. Delivering first and second fix works to a consistently high standard. Commissioning, testing, and professionally handing over systems. Working safely on live commercial sites across the City and West End. Representing the business professionally with clients, consultants, and site teams. This is a hands-on engineering role - you won't be dragged into project management or constant firefighting. What we're looking for 10+ years' experience as a Security / Access Control Engineer. Strong understanding of UK compliance and British Standards. Hands-on experience with access control systems (Gallagher, Paxton). Hands-on experience with CCTV systems (Hikvision, Avigilon). Confident across installation, servicing, fault-finding, and commissioning. Valid ECS card. Essentials Live within the M25. Proven security installation experience (not IT support). 5+ years' work experience with CCTV installation. Valid driver's licence (no day-to-day driving required, but may be needed occasionally). Able to work on a call-out rota. Able to pass and accept a background check. No visa sponsorship available. Nice to have SSSTS. IPAF. PASMA. Senior Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric) Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire (2 days onsite per week) Exalto Consulting is supporting a major organisation undergoing significant data and digital transformation. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft Fabric to help shape and deliver reliable, scalable data products. Do you enjoy building dependable data pipelines? Want to work with a modern Fabric platform and influence engineering standards? Looking for a role with real impact rather than endless firefighting? You will design, build and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines , lakehouse structures and semantic models using Microsoft Fabric s Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, Spark SQL and Python. Your work will ensure data is accessible, trusted and well governed across hybrid on prem and cloud environments. You ll collaborate closely with data architects, analysts and domain teams, supporting decentralised data products and helping embed best practice across data quality, lineage, observability and compliance. What you ll be doing Building end to end data pipelines and Fabric based lakehouse solutions. Creating semantic layers using star schema modelling and DAX. Embedding monitoring, lineage and data quality into pipelines. Integrating data from APIs, CRM/ERP systems and other third party sources. Ensuring secure, compliant data handling aligned with GDPR and ISO 27001. Supporting CI/CD deployment of version controlled artefacts. What we re looking for Essential Strong experience designing and operating scalable ETL/ELT pipelines. Hands on Microsoft Fabric experience (Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, semantic models). SQL and Python proficiency, with Spark/Spark SQL exposure. Practical understanding of data quality, observability and troubleshooting. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate across teams. Desirable CI/CD experience. High volume or real time data environments. Data cataloguing tools (e.g. Purview).
