Accounts and Tax Senior

TPF Recruitment is recruiting for a fantastic firm of accountants who are looking for an Accounts and Tax Senior to join their team in Sidcup. This accountancy practice boasts a fantastic work-life balance and offers an excellent family-feel working environment. You will work in a general practice capacity across accounts, tax, bookkeeping, VAT and CIS with a primary focus on accounts and tax preparation. You will have the support of a small, but experienced team, and work in a client-facing capacity. Clients range from sole traders and partnerships to limited companies of varying sizes, across a range of sectors. The opportunity offers good progression and technical development opportunities.

• Managing a client portfolio including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and individuals.
  
• Overseeing and managing all aspects of client service delivery, including preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and CIS.
  
• Liaising with clients on accounts and tax issues as required.
  
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of progress and maintaining regular contact with them.
  
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members and resolving all issues prior to submission.
  
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  

RequirementsAccounts and Tax Senior Sidcup

• ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 2-3 years of post-qualification experience or qualified by experience.
  
• Have proven experience of working in a practice environment.
  
• Experience in managing a client portfolio.
  
• Have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  
• Experience in using cloud-based accounting software packages, such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
