Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a leading engineering organisation, working on Renewables projects in Co. Tipperary.

About the Role

You will oversee projects from start to finish, coordinating all design works and interfaces with third-party stakeholders. You will maintain excellent relationships with clients and act as an ambassador throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing construction projects from beginning to end
  • Co-ordinating design works and interfaces with all third-party stakeholders
  • Maintaining strong client relationships from project start to handover
  • Arranging and chairing handover from estimating to construction teams
  • Liaising with senior management on staffing and recruitment plans
  • Ensuring site audits for Quality Control are carried out according to the design plan
  • Holding weekly progress meetings with sub-contractors, ensuring safety and training are discussed

Candidate Requirements

  • Trade qualification through apprenticeship or engineering qualification
  • Relevant H&S qualification, e.g., IOHS Managing Safely or equivalent
  • Proven experience managing projects from scoping through to completion and delivery
  • Experience managing, coordinating, and developing staff
  • Experience supporting a continuous improvement culture among project teams
  • Experience with High Voltage projects
  • Awareness of BIM technologies where relevant
  • Understanding of engineering processes and best practice
