Assistant Automotive Service Manager - Southwest London
Strong OTE £45k+ Negotiable depending on experience Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm - Weekends on rota

An established automotive business in Southwest London is seeking an experienced Assistant Aftersales Manager / Senior Service Advisor to support the day-to-day running of a busy aftersales department.

This role is ideal for a Senior Service Advisor or Workshop Controller who is working towards a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager career path and is ready to take on more operational responsibility.

This is a hands-on, visible role within the dealership, supporting both front-of-house and workshop teams while helping drive performance, customer satisfaction and operational standards.

The Role

• Supporting the Aftersales Manager / Service Manager with daily aftersales operations

• Managing and supporting Service Advisors and overseeing workshop flow

• Assisting with KPI performance, productivity, upsell and customer satisfaction targets

• Handling escalated customer queries and complaints professionally

• Supporting audit standards, compliance and brand processes

• Acting as a key link between service advisors, technicians and management

• Ensuring a smooth and consistent customer journey from booking to handover

About You

• Previous experience as a Senior Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager or Workshop Controller

• Strong customer handling, leadership and people management skills

• Commercially aware with a focus on quality, efficiency and profitability

• Confident working in a fast-paced main dealer or large independent environment

• Motivated by progression towards a Service Manager / Aftersales Manager role
