We have a great track record in nurturing talented graduates and school leavers. As a result, this is only the 2 nd time in 17 years we are looking to recruit a Audit Senior Manager externally. The successful candidate will join a young social established team with significant continuity in team members and clients. This opportunity rarely arises. Our Audit team here at Forvis Mazars specialises in delivering high quality services to our clients. The Mid-Market is a significant proportion of our client base, not just in the UK, but globally. You will have the opportunity to work with a prestigious list of SME/Privately Owned Business clients widening your exposure to different aspects of this service line. As an Audit Senior Manager (SNM), you will lead complex engagements, support the senior leadership team including Partners, and contribute to the strategic development of the audit practice. You'll manage high-value client relationships and play an active role in coaching and developing the wider team. About the role As a Senior Manager, you will lead multiple audit engagements from planning through to finalisation of reports in line with agreed timescales. You will work closely with clients and be committed to providing an exceptional service. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of stakeholder relationships at audited entities and will be expected to work with senior level staff whilst overseeing and developing staff. You will work closely with Senior leaders up to Partner level. What are we looking for? ACA / CA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification. Prior experience of working at an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager level. Relevant Privately Owned Business/SME sector audit experience. Up to date technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and IFRS. Holds significant experience of leading external audits managing a portfolio of clients and leading audit teams. Experience of managing, training, and coaching team members.
