Bookkeeper

We are delighted to be recruiting a Part-Time Bloodstock Bookkeeper to work closely with a fantastic and well-respected local bloodstock agent. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a dynamic, fast-paced bloodstock operation, supporting high-value transactions and an internationally connected business at the heart of the industry. The role offers a varied and rewarding workload, combining responsibility and flexibility, and would suit someone who enjoys working with autonomy while being a trusted financial partner to the agent. With hybrid working and regular exposure to the London office, this position offers both flexibility and the chance to stay closely connected to the commercial side of bloodstock.

As the Bookkeeper you will be:

• Performing day-to-day bookkeeping for bloodstock-related entities
• Maintaining accurate financial records, including sales, purchases, and expenses
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Managing invoices, payments, and receipts
• Supporting VAT returns and general financial reporting
• Liaising with management, agents, and external accountants as required

As the Bookkeeper you will have:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, ideally within the bloodstock, equine, or related industries
• Strong working knowledge of Xero
• Excellent Excel skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup, including one day per week in London
