The Role Electrician

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and testing electrical systems in an industrial setting, ensuring full compliance with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and all relevant safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install electrical systems within an industrial environment

  • Carry out electrical inspections, testing, and certification

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications

  • Ensure all work meets BS 7671 and industry regulations

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and certifications

  • Follow health & safety procedures at all times

  • Work independently and collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and clients

Requirements
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

  • 2391 Inspection, Testing & Certification (or equivalent)

  • AM2 qualification

  • ECS Gold Card (preferred, not essential)

  • Minimum 5 years experience as an Electrician

  • Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and safety standards

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills

Working Hours
  • 40 hours per week

  • Monday Thursday: 7am 4pm

  • Friday: 7am 1pm

  • Closed on Bank Holidays

  • Full Christmas shutdown until after New Year
