Location: Bishop s Stortford
Type: Ongoing / Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £16.50 £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
About the Company
Our client is a well-established property maintenance company delivering reactive and planned maintenance services across residential, commercial, and public sector projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a reliable Storeperson to support their operations team.
The Role
As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the stores and materials, ensuring operatives have the correct equipment and materials to carry out works efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries

Issuing materials, tools, and equipment to operatives

Maintaining accurate stock records

Organising and keeping the stores area clean and safe

Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages

Coordinating with site teams and management

Assisting with general yard and stores duties as required
Requirements
-
Previous experience in a stores / warehouse / storeperson role (construction or maintenance preferred)

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic IT skills for stock control

Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)

Must have a vaild UK driving licence and be able to drive a van
