This is a *Manchester* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *supporting high-volume hiring during a critical period of demand.*
Overview
Our client is seeking an Internal Talent Resourcer to support high-volume hiring during a critical period of demand. This is an execution-focused, individual contributor role, ideal for a recruitment professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is confident screening large volumes of technical applications with speed and accuracy.
Reporting to an Internal Recruitment Manager, the role plays a key part in supporting internal mobility and delivering a consistent, compliant, and high-quality candidate experience.
Role Focus
This position is focused on onsite talent sourcing and screening, supporting high-volume technical hiring, primarily across:
Backend Software Engineering
Data Engineering
Data Science
These areas represent the majority of hiring demand, making hands-on understanding of technical profiles essential.
Hiring Volume & Environment
Inbound applications only (no outbound sourcing required)
Extremely high volume: approximately 500-1,000 applications per week
Peak workload expected during Q1 and Q2
Fast-paced, high-throughput screening environment where efficiency, accuracy, and consistency are critical
Key Responsibilities
Review and screen high volumes of inbound applications
Assess technical relevance and overall role fit for engineering and data positions
Submit qualified candidates into the applicant tracking system/job portal
Support concludes at submission stage:
No interview scheduling
No offer management
No post-submission ownership
Capability Requirements
Strong understanding of:
Backend engineering stacks
Data engineering concepts (pipelines, tooling, cloud platforms)
Data science fundamentals
Ability to make fast, accurate screening decisions at scale
Comfortable working with ATS platforms and recruitment systems
Proven experience in high-volume recruitment or sourcing environments
Interview & Working Model
Interview format: On-stage interview
Working pattern:
Onsite one day per week (Thursday)
Hybrid/remote for the remainder
Target start: Before the end of January
Experience & Background
3-5 years' experience in high-volume recruitment or sourcing (agency or in-house)
Experience recruiting within tech-driven environments strongly preferred
Exposure to internal recruitment and internal mobility processes is an advantage
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions and tight timelines
Skills & Attributes
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and recruitment stakeholders
Data-driven mindset, using metrics and insights to track progress and optimise delivery
Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient in high-pressure environments
Passionate about Talent Acquisition and delivering a positive candidate experience
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
