About the role
Title - Security Officer
Pay Rate - £12.60 per hour
Location - Eakring (National Grid, Eakring Training Facilities)
Shift Timings - Shifts: 4 on, 4 off (12-hour shifts, including days, nights & weekends)
We are seeking adedicatedSecurityOfficertoensurethesafetyandsecurityof National Grid'strainingfacilities. The role requires vigilance,professionalism, and adherence tosecurityprotocols to protect people, property, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain site security in line with AssignmentInstructions(AI's) and company policies.
- Monitor for risks, respond to incidents, and report health & safety hazards.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and complete required training.
- Maintain accurate records and elevate issues when necessary.
- Conduct regular patrols and ensure adherence to all safety procedures.
- Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
- Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

Requirements
- ️DS (Door Supervisor) SIA License (must be worn on duty).
- ️Full UK Driving License (essential for site accessibility).
- ️Enhanced DBS Clearance (required).
- ️Previoussecurityexperience (preferred).
