The Company
Our client is a well-established and expanding specialist contractor delivering enabling works, earthworks, demolition, site clearance and operated plant solutions across residential and commercial developments. Working with national housebuilders, developers and private clients, they are recognised for their safety-first approach and consistent project delivery.

Due to sustained growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their operational team.

The Role
You will take full responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of multiple projects, managing programmes from pre-start through to completion. Acting as the key interface between clients, site teams and subcontractors, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through to completion and handover
• Develop and control project programmes, budgets and resources
• Oversee site teams, subcontractors and plant operations
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
• Identify and manage project risks and site issues
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular progress updates
• Drive quality, efficiency and continuous improvement across projects

About You

• Proven Project Manager experience within earthworks, groundworks or civil engineering
• Strong technical understanding of enabling works and site operations
• SMSTS certification essential
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Commercially aware with experience managing costs and programmes
• Relevant construction or engineering qualifications advantageous
