HGV Driver

Class 1 Driver required in Westbury.

• Salary: Starting salary £14.59 per hour Mon-Fri, £21.89 per hour Sat, and £29.18 per hour Sun.
• Hours: 55-hour week between 4:00am-10:00pm (shifts discussed further upon inquiry).

Our client, a multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group with centres across the whole of England, is looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join their head office in Westbury.

As a Class 1 HGV Driver, your main duties will include:

• Collection and delivery of customer vehicles using a 7.5-tonne vehicle transporter.
• Moving vehicles to other sites across our client's dealer group.
• Moving vehicles in and out of the workshops and from our client's trailer yards.
• Generally helping out and assisting colleagues where required, and working as a team.

To be eligible, you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Westbury, as well as having a Class 1 driving licence with minimal points. Previous experience in a similar collection/delivery role or experience working with vehicles or in a similar capacity would be highly advantageous to our client; however isn't essential as training is provided. Overall, you will be logistically minded, a team player, organised, presentable, and a good planner with an understanding of major transport roads/routes across England.
