Job Description

An experienced Industrial Electrician is needed to join a busy installation team. The role will involve electrical installation, modification, and maintenance of industrial electrical and control systems in a variety of industries include water, chemicals, waste management and manufacturing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Carry out electrical installation works
  • Install, terminate, test, and commission of LV power and control cabling, motors, pumps, MCCs and panels.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Complete electrical testing, fault finding, and minor commissioning activities
  • Liaise with supervisors, engineers, and site teams to deliver works efficiently
  • Accurately complete site documentation, test records, and job reports
  • Support planned maintenance, reactive works, and shutdown activities
  • Participate in standby / call-out rota when required

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong background in industrial electrical installations
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Experienced at installing control panels and instrumentation systems
  • Competent in fault finding and electrical testing
  • Any PLC programming experience would be an advantage
  • Full UK driving licence
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation / Engineering
  • 18th Edition
  • ECS / CSCS card

The role is a mixture of workshop and site based work so you will need to be prepared to work away with overnight stays when needed

Salary c 50-60K + benefits (depending on experience)
