Key Responsibilities of the Head of PE:

• Lead and manage the PE department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Develop and deliver an engaging PE curriculum that promotes physical fitness and teamwork.
• Organise extracurricular sports activities and events to enrich student experience.
• Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students.

Requirements for the Head of PE role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching PE and leading a department or team.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• A passion for promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing among young people.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
