PURPOSE OF THE ROLEShape the Future of Digital Experiences at the BBC

As the media landscape shifts from broadcast to digital, this role is central to our ambition: to offer a richer, more personalised and IP delivered experience for everyone in the UK.
We're looking for a Senior Architect to join our Experiences Architecture team to help shape the strategy for how millions of people watch and listen to BBC content. You'll shape the evolution of flagship products like BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds, guiding teams to deliver seamless, high quality experiences to households across the UK.
This is a chance to work at scale, to tackle complex architectural challenges, and to influence the journey from traditional broadcasting to a fully connected, on demand future. You'll join a supportive community of architects - working across disciplines to bring clarity, coherence, and innovation to everything we do.
WHY JOIN THE TEAMThis is a critical role that will see you embedded in cross functional teams operating within the Product Operating Model, working with engineers, product managers and designers. You will also collaborate closely with architects across the BBC to ensure coherence and alignment with wider enterprise architecture.
