Mercury Hampton is supporting a well-established contractor delivering major water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued workload, we are recruiting Site Engineer on a contract basis to support wastewater construction projects for a leading contractor within the UK water sector.
The Role
This is a hands-on site role providing technical, organisational and supervisory support to ensure wastewater infrastructure works are delivered safely, accurately and to specification.
Key Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying wastewater infrastructure works

Acting as the main technical adviser on site

Interpreting drawings, specifications and quantities

Ensuring materials and workmanship meet project standards

Coordinating subcontractors and site teams

Monitoring quality control and health & safety

Attending site meetings and preparing reports

Resolving technical issues as they arise
Requirements
-
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on wastewater projects

Strong setting out and surveying capability

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

Contract or freelance experience preferred

Relevant engineering qualification advantageous
