Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives to assist in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of their products. As a Production Operative in the Wax Assembly department main duties will include: Assembly of wax moulds and wax runner systems Use of machinery and hand tools Handling delicate runner wax and soluble wax Attaching riser system to the wax moulds Quality checking products Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy The ideal production operative will have : Experience in a manufacturing/production environment. A light touch as you are handling delicate materials A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills. You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting. Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided Hours of Work Monday-Thursday 06:00am-4.30pm and Friday 06:00am-2.30pm . 48 hours a week. Due to the location and 6am start time you will need a driving licence and access to a vehicle. Benefits include free on-site parking, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays and pension.
