Finance Systems & Process Review Remote Volunteer 2-4 hours per week/ 2 mths

Our partner is an international organisation that builds coalitions to protect civilians in conflict. They are seeking a skilled finance professional to help modernise and streamline their financial systems during a period of transition and reduced capacity.

Following recent funding pressures and staff changes, the organisation is rebuilding its finance function and looking to improve efficiency by reducing manual processes and making better use of existing platforms, including SAP Concur and Sun Systems. The focus is on developing more integrated, automated and reliable financial operations.

Key areas of support include:

• Reducing reliance on Excel and manual tasks
• Improving system integration and workflow design
• Automating payment runs, payroll journals and bank reconciliations
• Enhancing budget uploads, reporting and debtor/creditor management
• Strengthening links between Concur, Sun Systems and banking platforms

The ideal volunteer will have experience in finance operations, systems optimisation or process automation, with the confidence to advise on practical improvements. Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems is helpful but not essential.

The commitment is approximately 2-4 hours per week over two months, fully remote. You will work closely with senior staff and the finance team.
