Senior Broker Support Technician City of London£60,000 - £100,000 + hybrid workingA leading Lloyd's Broker is looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Technician, to focus on Global Professional Indemnity business, particularly Lawyers, Architects and Engineers.The RoleThe Broker Technician will be supporting the broking team through the following duties:
- Assisting brokers with renewals and new business
- Preparing quotes
- Preparing of MRC documentation
- Reviewing and improving wordings
- Ensuring premiums and taxes are accurate
- Working with finance to ensure premiums are received and paid
- Loading placements onto PPL
The PersonThe ideal candidate for this role will have solid experience in Professional Indemnity/ Professional Liability/ Errors and Omissions experience. Other experience/ skills sought include:
- Experience of producing MRCs
- Experience of creating/ amending policy wordings
- Knowledge of the London, US and international environment
- Strong computer skills in Excel and PPL
- Good people skills and the ability to engage with external stakeholders in meetings
