Complete all relevant paperwork and job cards accurately and timely. Work effectively as part of a team to ensure high fleet availability and minimal downtime. Assist with roadside breakdowns and recovery when necessary. Adhere to health and safety regulations, and ensure the workshop environment remains clean and safe. Keep up to date with new technology and training as required. Required Skills & Qualifications NVQ Level 3/City&Guilds or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or similar qualification). Proven experience as a mechanic/technician working on PSVs or HGVs. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Full UK driving licence (Category D licence desirable but not essential). Understanding of DVSA regulations and safety inspection procedures. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Desirable IRTEC certification or willingness to obtain. Air conditioning and electrical systems experience. Experience using diagnostic tools and software.
