We're recruiting a Fire & Security Engineer for a well established specialist integrator covering the Home Counties and the M4 corridor. This business delivers high quality work across residential and commercial sites and has built its reputation on doing things properly, not rushing jobs or cutting corners.

This role suits an engineer who enjoys being hands on, takes pride in tidy installs, and wants trust, variety, and long term progression without being pushed into a desk job.

The role

You'll be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing, and maintaining Fire & Security systems across a mix of residential and commercial environments. The work is varied and well planned, with a strong focus on quality and client care.

You'll be trusted to manage your own jobs, represent the company professionally on site, and deliver work to a high standard.

What you'll be doing

• Installing, commissioning, testing, and maintaining Fire & Security systems
• Working with fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control
• Carrying out fault finding, service visits, and small works or upgrades
• Completing surveys, job reports, and clear documentation
• Communicating professionally with clients and site contacts
• Ensuring all work meets current standards and regulations

What they're looking for

• Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer
• Strong hands on knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control
• A professional, calm, client-facing approach
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Full UK driving licence
• Desire to develop long term while staying technical
