SPEC Engineering Ltd is a leading Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company specialising in Oil, Gas, and Refinery projects. We are expanding our footprint in the UK and seeking a Engineers of all disciplines and experience levels to join our team, for example:
- Piping Engineers (Senior/Junior & Entry Level)
- Mechanical Engineers (Senior/Junior & Entry Level)
- Static Engineers (Senior/Junior & Entry Level)
- Project Managers (All Levels)
As an Engineer with SPEC you will provide technical support throughout the fabrication and installation phases, including review of shop drawings and vendor submittals. You will engage in the preparation of design reports, specifications, and technical documentation and join design reviews, ensuring compliance with all technical and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Qualifications/Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience for Senior Roles
- Proven experience in working with pressure vessel manufacturers where relevant.
- A good understanding of industry standards, including ASME, TEMA, and other international codes.
- Knowledge and practical experience with design codes such as ASME (Section VIII, Section II, and Section IX), TEMA, API, and other relevant international standards.
- Proficiency in the use of Compress, NozzlePRO, FEA software (ANSYS) for structural and thermal analysis of mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
Experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry would be an advantage.
This is an Office Based role, therefore, candidates should be based within commutable distance to Leatherhead, Surrey and must be authorised to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Salary: £28,000.00 - £70,000.00 per year depending on experience
