Engineering Shift Team Leader

My client, working within the FMCG sector is looking to recruit an Engineering shift Team Leader on a permanent basis.You will be required to work a two week rota, Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6am - 1.45pm and Saturday, 6am - finishWeek 2: Monday to Friday, 1.35pm - 9.45pmThe main responsibilities of the role includes- Support the Engineering Manager- Supervise, train and mentor Engineers- Implement PPM schedules- Repair and test electrical and mechanical plant equipment- Lead effective fault finding and resolution for high-speed automated machinery- Assist with departmental paperworkAs a suitable candidate you will offer the following- An electrical-based apprenticeship qualification is essential- Experience of high-speed machinery in FMCG or a similar production environment - Strong electrical fault-finding skills - Experience working with automated machinery - Previous supervisory or people management experience The starting pay-rate is between £20.51 and £21.51 an hour with overtime being paid after 40 hours at 1.25
