Carbon60 are currently looking for a Process Performance Engineer to join a client of ours based in Filton. This position is a contract role with both PAYE and Umbrella rates available. This contract is until the end of October 2026 with probable extension. As the Process Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining PERT charts, SLB (Station Line Balancing), and other critical path and process improvement documentation. You will identify and share best practices across various teams and facilities, maximising efficiency and productivity. Your technical expertise and analytical skills will be instrumental in proposing process improvements, reducing cycle times, and enhancing overall manufacturing performance. Key Responsibilities: - Create and maintain PERT charts, SLB, and other line balancing documentation - Identify and share best practices across teams and facilities to improve efficiency - Publish line balancing information to enable production pace control - Manage performance by maintaining constraints lists and maximising station capacity utilisation - Propose improvements based on analysis of manufacturing performance and disruptions - Conduct VA/NVA analysis and shop floor observations to optimise process and serial allocated time Required Skills and Experience: - Strong understanding of aircraft product design, assembly, and procedural processes, particularly in the wing manufacturing domain - Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills - Proficient in using software such as Google G Suite, SAP, and design tools like CATIA and 3DX - Experience in applying export control, cyber security, and health/safety regulations in manufacturing - Knowledge of ICY, Key Characteristics, and Metrology would be advantageous If you are interested in this position and would like to know more, please apply with your updated CV and one of our consultants will be in touch.
