Audit Senior Manager (RI Pathway)

Salary: Up to £90,000

A Top 30 accountancy firm is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Senior Manager to its West London office, offering a clear pathway to Responsible Individual (RI) status.

This role would suit an existing RI or a Senior Manager ready to step into RI responsibilities, including signing audit reports for around six months of the year.

The Role:

• Managing a predominantly audit-focused portfolio (75%+ audit)
• Leading audits from planning to completion and sign-off
• Reviewing statutory accounts and advising on corporate tax where required
• Acting as main client contact (FC/FD level)
• Managing and developing audit teams
• Working closely with Partners and contributing to audit department leadership

Client Portfolio:

• c.70 clients c.£800k fees
• Mixed-sector portfolio
• Turnover range £1m-£100m (average £10m-£40m)

Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA qualified
• Strong audit background (100% audit welcomed)
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102; limited IFRS exposure
• Experience with CaseWare and Mercia
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
