HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

We are recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers to join a well established customer operating in the Fakenham and King's Lynn area of Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well organised operation, working with a modern fleet for a customer recognised for high standards and effective planning.

The role offers consistent, dependable work within a reliable operation. Shifts are typically Monday to Friday with morning starts (tramping).

PAYE:
Monday to Friday £14.50 - £16.25
Minimum 8 hour pay per shift
£25 nights out

Duties:

Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Carry out safe, efficient, and punctual deliveries and collections
Communicate effectively with traffic planners regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Remain compliant with EU Tachograph and WTD Driver Hours

Job role:

Full UK Driving Licence with C+E Entitlement
Current DQC and Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 2 years' commercial driving experience, however all applications will be considered
Must be punctual and reliable at all times
No more than 6 penalty points (No DD's or DR's)
A sound knowledge of Drivers Hours' and Working Time Directive Legislation
Be professional and well presented at all times
