Service Manager

My client manufacturer test emission testing equipment for the automotive market, they have a massive market share in the UK and have growth really well in recent years with their growth not looking to be slowed down. They are well established with nearly 30 years under their belt and have some of the best reviews out there for the product and also their staff. Be part of this company's story. They are looking for a person with the drive to be a long term prospect for the business.

Due to internal promotion they are looking for a service manager , you will be:-

• Based form their office in Oxfordshire - standard 40 hour week
• Managing a team of emission testing engineers that cover across the country
• Dealing with any customer or engineer issues
• Supervising the service controllers in the office to make sure all runs smoothly
• Managing engineers KPIS and reporting back on productivity
• Making sure customer SLA's are being met and solving the issues if they are not

Skills Needed to be a service manager

• Based within travelling distance to their office in Oxfordshire
• Having experience in the automotive, MOT or vehicle testing equipment sectors would obviously be an advantage but is not essential
• You do need experience running a team of engineers to the point of improvement - this can be from any sectors as you will get full training on the equipment the company manufacturers
• You need to have motivation and be proactive in your approach
• Good Microsoft computer skills as well as good written and verbal skills

• 38-42k basic salary
