2D CAD Engineer/Estimator

2D CAD Engineer / EstimatorFull-Time Permanent £30,000 per annumWe are currently seeking a 2D CAD Engineer / Estimator to join a busy and expanding office-based engineering team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and growing environment.Key Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Producing profile drawings using 2D AutoCAD (or similar software)
• Working accurately to instruction while meeting deadlines
• Supporting estimation and related office-based engineering tasks
• Remaining flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

Skills & Experience

• Proven ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience producing 2D profile drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent
• Engineering background preferred
• Experience with Lantek software is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to recognise material types such as S275, S355, CR4, 304, 316, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Working Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Lunch: 1 hour per day
• Total: 39.5 hours per week

Salary

• £30,000 per annum
