Body Repair Technician

We are looking on behalf of our client for an experienced PSV Body Repair Man to join our engineering team, carrying out body repairs and structural work across the fleet. This role is ideal for a skilled trades person with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to keeping vehicles safe.

You'll work in a well equipped workshop as part of a supportive engineering team maintaining buses and/or coaches to a high standard.

Key responsibilities:

• Carry out body repairs on PSV Vehicles, including panels, framework, floors and interiors
• Welding, fabrication and metalwork repairs
• Accident damage repairs and refurbishment work
• Preparation of vehicles for MOT and safety inspections
• Ensure all repairs meet DVSA and company standards
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Adhere to health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience in PSV body repairs (bus or coach)
• Skilled in welding and fabrication techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of DVSA standards
• Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
