Field Service Engineer - CNC Laser Machine Tools
Location: Ideally Midlands-based (other regions considered)
An international industrial machinery manufacturer is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, commission, service and maintain high-value CNC laser machine tools at customer sites across the UK.
Following comprehensive product training, you will provide reactive and preventative support, fault-find and repair machines, carry out installations and handovers, and deliver basic customer training. You will act as a trusted technical specialist, ensuring maximum machine uptime and performance, while feeding technical information back to internal teams and the factory.
Key Requirements:
- Proven Field Service Engineer experience
- Strong electrical, electronic and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of CNC control systems
- Higher level qualification or time-served engineer
- Customer-facing, professional approach
