Our client is a globally recognised engineering manufacturer experiencing sustained growth and continued investment across their product development function. They are now seeking a Project Manager to join their West Yorkshire operation, supporting the delivery of complex, high-value engineering programmes from early concept through to full manufacture.
This Project Manager role sits within a technically driven environment, working closely with design, engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams. As Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, managing risk, cost, quality and delivery while operating in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. This opportunity will suit a Project Manager comfortable operating at the interface between R&D and manufacturing.
Project Manager - Role & Responsibilities - Engineering / Manufacturing / R&D
- Manage a portfolio of engineering projects across the full product lifecycle
- Own project plans, schedules, budgets and risk management activities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across design, manufacturing and supply chain
- Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external customers
- Track and report project progress, ensuring delivery to cost, quality and time targets
- Support the transition of projects from development into production
- Apply structured project management tools to drive consistency and control

- Proven experience working as a Project Manager within a manufacturing environment
- Background supporting products developed from concept through to manufacture
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk and stakeholder management
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities
- Confident communicator able to influence at all levels of the organisation
- Hands-on, delivery-focused approach with strong organisational skills
