Armstrong Knight are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a highly respected and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Essex, who are now seeking a talented Mixed Tax Manager to join their expanding team.

The Role
Working closely with the Partners and Senior Management Team, you will take ownership of a broad portfolio covering both personal and corporate tax work. The position offers an excellent blend of technical advisory and complex compliance.
You will:
- Manage a portfolio of corporate, personal and partnership tax clients
- Review complex computations and returns
- Provide tax planning and advisory support to business owners and HNW clients
- Oversee junior staff, reviews and workflow allocation
- Liaise with HMRC and external advisors
- Stay current on tax legislation and advise internally on changes
- Support ongoing business development and client engagement initiatives
About You
We'd love to speak with you if you have:
- CTA (or final stages), or strong QBE mixed-tax background
- Solid practice experience with both corporate and personal tax
- Comfortable handling a varied client portfolio
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical work into client-friendly language
- Experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff
- A proactive approach - someone who can add value, not just deliver compliance
