Ink Technician
Wakefield, West Yorkshire
Shift Pattern; 3 shifts Monday to Friday:
Earlies: 06:00 to 13:30 Monday to Friday
Lates: 13:24 to 21:00 Monday to Thursday, 13:24 to 20:30 Friday
Nights: 20:50 to 06:12 Monday to Friday
4 weeks alternating each week between and early & late shift then 2 weeks of nights.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate must have the ability proven by experience to match and formulate colours in offset, screen and flexo ink systems in order to supply press ready products to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review the plan to ensure requirements are met by allocating inks to press.
- Match various colour shades in offset, flexo and silk screen ink systems, using proofing equipment. Check colours using Xrite colour matching system.
- Raise Ink sheets & maintain records of formula's using the Ink Management system, liaise with suppliers.
Skills & Requirements:
- Experienced in ink mixing inks & colour management.
- Must have the ability proven by experience to match and formulate colours in offset, screen and flexo ink systems in order to supply press ready products to production.
- Previous management experience would be an advantage.
