Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a Mechanial Technician to join our manufacturing client in the Burseldon area. This role involves supporting production operations by maintaining equipment/machinery, performing minor repairs, and ensuring optimal machine performance.

You do not need previous experience in this exact role, anyone with a mechanical background can be considered. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out basic mechanical maintenance on production equipment
• Assist with machine breakdowns, performing basic machine repairs and adjustments
• Escalate issues and support corrective actions
• Collaborate with Maintenance/Engineering for fault-finding and improvements
• Support trials, training, and CI initiatives

Ideal Candidate

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• A mechanical background or hands on technical skills
• Adaptable to a fast-paced production environment.

Shift

• Late shift: 14:00pm - 22:00pm (Monday - Friday, early finish on Friday)

Payrate

• 15.00p/h

Contract

• 3 months, Temp - Perm
