Financial Accountant

Axon Moore are excited to be supporting a well-established business in Lancaster to recruit a new Financial Accountant. This role is paying a competitive salary of up to £52,000.Duties and responsibilities include

• Preparing monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements
• Managing the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts and investigating variances
• Supporting audits and liaising with external auditors and advisors
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
• Improving financial processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy
• Partnering with stakeholders to provide clear financial insight
