We are delighted to be recruiting for an Accountant to support our manufacturing functions within our Operational Finance team, a cornerstone of the Group's Finance function.

Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Accountant, the position is an integral member of a team of finance professionals, who are responsible for all aspects of financial and management reporting for the Group's Operational divisions, comprising the Planning, Production, Recycling and Logistics functions.

WHAT OUR ACCOUNTANTS DO:

• Perform a variance of analysis for P&L line items including raw materials, other manufacturing costs and overheads
• Provide and manage the concepts of manufacturing efficiencies, production yield and overhead cost absorption
• Support month-end close including accruals, prepayments & reconciliations
• Preparation of operational dashboards (KPIs) & commentary for internal and external stakeholders
• Build and develop a good working relationship with your business partner
• Support with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR ACCOUNTANTS:

• CIMA / ACCA newly qualified / strategic level studier
• Experience of working within a manufacturing environment
• SAP/IFS system experience beneficial, particularly production and financial modules
• Strong team player able to provide support to other team members
• A proactive and positive approach and be able to work on own initiative
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise accordingly
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with non-finance stakeholders
