  • Administer the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made within agreed terms
  • Reconcile invoices against delivery notes and purchase orders, completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Prepare and process supplier payments, including BACS payment runs and purchase summaries
  • Support the Finance Manager and Head of Finance & IT, including deputising when required and contributing to team priorities
  • Maintain accurate financial records, support system improvements, and contribute to continuous process improvement
Purchase Ledger Controller Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
  • Degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years' relevant finance or bookkeeping experience
  • Proven experience managing a purchase ledger and supplier accounts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet monthly deadlines
  • Highly self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently
