OverviewAn established and respected law firm is seeking a motivated Commercial Property Solicitor to join its successful and collaborative real estate team. The focus of this role is delivering exceptional client service through clear, expert advice on a range of commercial property and residential investment matters. Key Responsibilities - Provide legal advice, guidance and innovative solutions on commercial property and residential investment matters.
- Support the team in achieving fee targets by assisting a broad range of clients across the business.
- Work closely with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to structure property transactions effectively.
- Draft, review and negotiate legal documentation.
- Identify legal risks and obstacles affecting transactions and guide clients on mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on relevant real estate legislation, regulations, and market standards in the UK.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations including AML and KYC requirements.
- Supervise junior team members as required.
- Maintain excellent file and case management standards.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness, including effective time recording, billing and cashflow control.
- Build and nurture client/referrer relationships and seek opportunities for future work.
- Contribute positively to departmental and firmwide initiatives including business development.
- Provide cover and support during colleague absences.
- Work confidently and independently without routine administrative support.
Candidate ProfileQualifications - Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (via LPC and training contract; or SQE route; or CILEX to Fellow level with admission by SRA).
